Driving a Tiger Tank

A rare chance to see what it’s like inside a running Tiger 1. The clip shows a short test run of Tiger 131 at the Tank Museum in Bovington, England. The 23 litre Maybach engine is now running superbly after a total rebuild by specialists at SdKfz in May 2006. Many thanks to the guys at Bovington for permitting the inside of this tank to be filmed and broadcast. Tiger 131 was last running in June 2009 for Tankfest. The engine is currently out and undergoing inspection after 3 years in the tank. All looks good.
