Championship leader Andrea Adamo got a difficult race that was penalized with 2 positions lost for not respecting a yellow flag waved. He eventually finished 13th, which let Jago Geerts dealing with Kevin Horgmo for the top position. The Belgian had been under the pressure of the Scandinavian for a time, but he was able to keep this gap that allowed him to win the race. The real battle was between Kay de Wolf and Simon Laengenfelder. Each rider was able to overtake the other for getting the 4th but the Husqvarna boy finally took the best over the GasGas rider.
