FOX Only You Can EURONICK61’S EXTENDED VIDEO MIX

Continuing my fascination with Noosha Fox aka Susan Traynor and the band Fox, who had a trio of hits in the mid 1970’s. ’Only You Can’ was the debut release for the band in Britain and Australia; a big hit in the former, but only reaching #69 in the latter in 1975. A year later ’SSS Single Bed’ was a massive hit downunder and a Top 10 in England. It prompted the record company to reissue and rework the earlier recording and released it as a Double A side here in Oz with ’Imagine Me, Imagine You’; scoring a Top 20 National chart placing. My thanks and credit to EuroNick61’s extended edit on ’Only You Can’ which I have used as the audio base for this post. I’ve also used two clips of the band performing the song: one that had the earlier vocal and production and visually only featuring Noosha; the other a band performance on a music show. Nick has made the challenge interesting for me; to find a way to synch the somewhat nonsensical lyric in the middle of the track.
