In June 2023, the Irish government has been holding a “Consultative Forum on International Security Policy,“ intended to “open a discussion“ about Ireland’s policy of neutrality. On Saturday 24 June, 2023, Clare Daly and Mick Wallace hosted an event of international speakers in the Morrison Hotel in Dublin to contest the government’s narrative, and urge the defence of Irish neutrality.
