Title reads: “Big Fight Sensations“. Nottingham Ice Stadium, Nottinghamshire. Various shots of boxing match between boxers John Cladwell (Bantam Weight Champion of Britain and Empire) and Alan Rudkin. Referee George Smith stops fight in round ten because Cladwell is badly cut. A spectator leaps into ring and tries to get at boxers but is stopped by MC. Lord Scarsdale presents Rudkin with the Lonsdale Belt. C/U boxing promoter Reg King. Various shots of fight between boxers Johnny Prescott and African American boxer Hubert Hilton. Prescott goes down in first round, Hilton thinks he’s won but referee Nicky Fox keeps match going until round two. Hilton wins. Note: the boxer Johnny Prescott is not the same as the government minister John Prescott because a) the boxer is from Birmingham and b) the government minister Prescott would never get knocked out in the first round!
