For Autumn/Winter 2024-25 Bora Aksu brings together his signature demi-couture aesthetic and the mirth of postminimalism in a collection that pays homage to the incredible life and sublime artistry of Eva Hesse. Drawing inspiration from Hesse’s enigmatic sculptures as well as her complex personal history, Aksu presents pieces that blend the ethereal and playful style he has become known for with a darker look that reflects the trauma expressed through Hesse’s work. Autumn/Winter 2024-25 centres the role of art and design in the processing of past trauma, an introspective exploration of emotional growth and feminine power.
