Welsh singer Charlotte Church has joined tens of thousands of protesters from across the UK at a pro-Palestinian march in central London. The musician has been vocal in the past about her support for the Palestinians, and stated she was attending the demonstration in order to call for an “immediate ceasefire“. The build-up to the march has been mired in controversy, with Prime Minister Rishi Sunak warning police chiefs that extremists have infiltrated the ranks of protesters, claiming that “mob rule is replacing democratic rule“.
