Head-On Collision, Car Fire, Helicopter Medevac | Hamptons, Long Island

To help support this channel, Paypal Become a YT Channel Member LoudlabsNYC Merch | by Christopher Cyphers | HAMPTON BAYS, LI - Shortly after 7:00pm, Hampton Bays Fire Department and Town of Southampton Police responded to a 911 call of a car fire on Dune Road and Road L. Upon arrival, the car fire was the result of a head-on collision that caused on vehicle to erupt into flames, while the second vehicle, a white Mercedes sedan, spun off the road and into a ditch. The occupant of the car fire escaped, but suffered severe injuries, including burns. The occupant of the Mercedes was extricated by HBFD. Both operators were airlifted in critical condition from the Ponquogue Beach Pavilion by two Suffolk County PD aviation units, and transported to Stony Brook Medical Center. Mutual Aid provided by the village of East Quogue. The cause of the accident remains under investigation. To license video contact @
