Labour attack on a Muslim candidate shows why they’ve lost their vote.

Labour right winger makes a vile, islamophobic social media attack on British Palestinian candidate Leanne Mohamad . Right, so it seems when Labour comes under threat from an up and coming parliamentary candidate, or candidates instead of promoting their own policy, for some in the Labour Party now, a party that claims to have cleaned it’s act up under Keir Starmer, as laughable as that has been proven to be, the answer is to throw insults, make personal slights and generally be as low down, dirty and despicable in their very public and personal conduct as they can be. A number of independent candidates have sprung up to challenge some key Labour figures and for one has-been old Zionist in particular, they seem to have taken it upon themselves to not only bring the Labour Party into disrepute, exposing how deeply unpleasant and offensive some permitted to remain in Starmer’s Labour are, but also how empty and bereft of ideas they are too, that this is the conduct that they resort to instead of offering something transformative that appeals to voters instead. It treats the voting public with disrespect to behave like, this, not just opposition candidates. Right, so Damo don’t play coy with us please, who is this obscene individual making a prat of themselves with personal attacks on independent candidates having the temerity to challenge Labour and not just give them a free pass to power? Well, don’t let me keep you on the edge of your seat and in suspense for a moment longer, for it is the former MP for Ilford South, milky Mike Gapes. Now if you don’t know about Mike Gapes and his fascination with milk, which spawned a twitter parody, called @milkgapes – The Foundation for Mike Gapes Research – it came down to a bizarre late night speech in 2017, where Gapes’ biggest concern over Brexit, was a hard border between the Republic of and Northern Ireland, which would threaten the free roaming of cattle and therefore threaten the production of Bailey’s Irish Cream. That is pretty much the highlight of Gapes’ parliamentary career, it has stuck, milk memes still follow him to this day, togther than being a besotted Labour Friend of Israel and an ardent Zionist. Even more well known probably than anything he did as an MP, was how he put himself out of a job, by defecting from Labour and being a founding member of the thankfully short-lived political embarrassment that was Change UK, also known as the funny tinge party, with a number of other right wing has-beens that nobody misses either. Gapes hated Corbyn, really hated Corbyn, hated anything resembling change really, so defecting to Change UK was a hilarious example of irony, because they represented nothing of the sort, and for him at least, the antisemitism crisis under Corbyn, the scam, was his excuse to leave. He’s now since rejoined Labour as a member, antisemitism and all other forms of racism we know are not being dealt with and handled properly, but that was never what it was really about.
