Stress Management: Expelling the Venom

-- Expelling the Venom (time-less than a minute) Move stress and rage out of your body, unblock congested energies, and free the spirit. 1. Stand up straight. Put your arms out in front of you, bend your elbows slightly, make fists with the insides of your wrists facing up, and take a very full breath. 2. Swing your arms behind you and up over your head. Hold here for a moment. 3. Reach way up, turn your fists so your fisted fingers are facing each other, and rush your arms down the front of your body as you emphatically release your fists. Let out your breath and your emotions with a “whooooosh“ sound or any other sounds that come naturally. 4. Repeat 3 times. On the 4th time, bring your arms down in a slow and controlled manner, blowing your breath out of your mouth as you go. 5. End with a Zip-up. With a deep breath, place your hands at your pubic bone and pull them straight up the midline of your body, up in front of your face. Stretch high above your head, and turn your palms outward. Slowly releasing your breath, extend your arms out to the sides as far as they will go and back down to your pubic bone.
