Demonstrators gather on the streets of Paris on Sunday, October 22 to express their support for Palestine amid the ongoing Israel-Hamas conflict, and demand an immediate ceasefire. The nationwide rallies were called by the Solidarity trade union. Both pro-Israel and pro-Palestine demonstrations have taken place worldwide over the last two weeks, after Hamas attacked Israel and the IDF responded with a campaign of air strikes on Gaza. A new wave of protests took place all over the Middle East after a deadly blast at Al-Ahli Hospital in Gaza City on Tuesday claimed hundreds of lives. Palestinian officials reported that it was an Israeli strike, while the IDF blamed the Islamic Jihad group, which in turn denied involvement.
