World Rowing Championships 1985 mens coxless pair final in Hazewinkel, Belgium Lane 1 Italy Lane 2 Spain Lane 3 Soviet Union (Pimenov brothers) Lane 4 Great Britain (Adam Clift and Martin Cross) Lane 5 East Germany Lane 6 Canada The strokeman of the Pimenov brothers was alright and raced for many years after this (they won the world champs by a length the next year) . I included the brief shots after the race to explain the medal ceremony and to show how hard the race was. Not to be voyeuristic.
