What sounds do bears make? A bear can purr? (Read description)

A few of you have asked about the sounds a bear makes. We have mentioned before that they will sometimes “purr“. Well, that’s what I call it anyway. Listen here to the sound Jenny makes when she is interacting with Susan. When bears are young they get great comfort in suckling on their mother’s. It is a time of peace and safety and calm for them. Jenny never lost the desire for that, and whenever Susan will let her, she will suckle her fingers and make this purring sound. Make sure your sound is on so you can hear it!
