Earth & Fire was a Dutch progressive rockband formed in the 1960’s. Lead singer was Jerney Kaagman; twin brothers Chris (guitar) and Gerard (keyboards) Koerts were the main composers of the band. Earth & Fire had a string of hits in the early 1970’s and 1980’s starting with “Seasons“, “Ruby Is the One“, “Wild and Exciting“, “Invitation“ “Storm and Thunder“ and “Memories“. “Fire Of Love“ was their 14th hit which reached #23 on 15 March 1980 in the Dutch Top 40. Jerney Kaagman became a prominent member of the jury in the TV talentshow ’Idols’ between 2002 and 2008. This video was recorded by TROS Television for the TROS TOP 50 on 28 February 1980.
