Drakengard - Thirteenth Chapter Closing piano cover

Free sheet music at my new website: “Thirteenth Chapter - Closing“ from Drakengard by Nobuyoshi Sano I haven’t actually played Drakengard, but I’m a big fan of Nier so I looked up the series to see what the story was. Here’s a cover of the ridiculous final mission music. I wanted to sync it with gameplay footage, but that would be pretty difficult, so here’s a spoiler-free sheet music video. It probably won’t help you beat the game, but I put the PlayStation controller button icons in for fun. Note the differing key signatures--I didn’t like the way it looked with a sharp in every measure of the left hand or so many naturals in the right hand, but they don’t really seem to be in the same key anyway. The right hand’s time signature also feels like it alternates between 6/8 and 3/4 for the two motifs. An unusual piece, yet one of the least unusual on the whole soundtrack. #Drakengard #ドラ&#
