The Valkyrjur (Meaning Valkyries in Old Norse) where female figures who choose who may die in battle and who may live. The Valkyries bring the chosen to the afterlife. One half of the chosen goes to Valhalla where the God Odin feasts with his warriors till Ragnarök and the other half goes to the Goddess Freya in Fólkvangr.
