She’s this singer/songwriter who has gotten really big through Tennessee’s Contemporary Christian scene, and we were in contact over the last two and a ½ years. She said she’d really like to do something on the album, and we talked a lot about doing making some music together. I met her in Miami at the Winter Music Conference 2011, and it was at that point we said ’ok, now is the time - let’s try and get something down’. It began with me writing a backing track, which I thought would really fit with her voice. It was quite a tricky one to pull off, as I was after something that had real depth to it that would suit her voice.
