Super Robot Museum: Getter Robo VS Getter Robo G DX ~ スーパーロボットミュージアム ゲッターロボVSゲッターロボG DX

It’s the second audio drama I did for this channel! They mixed and matched parts of the 70s anime with the 70s manga and the Shin Getter Manga, and accordingly, so did I to make this. During the making I found out that 4 years prior to the first Tekken on PSX Jakioh featured a character named Shimamoto Heihachirou who also looks like the famous King of the Iron Fist. And in case you were wondering what the first known instance of “abayo, dachiko“ was (as far as I know, anyway), it’s the 70s Getter Robo manga! Getter Robo? More like GOATer Robo! It was hard not picking Yakusoku no Oka for the ending btw, but I ultimately went with Storm because a) it ___king rocks, b) it’s slightly topical and maybe I’ll get some algorithm luck and c) it was both an ending (Arc) and the opening to another Getter v Getter, namely Neo VS Shin. The next audio drama I do probably won’t be mech-related, because I don’t want to pigeon-hole myself. That said, I’m always open to suggestions, even if they don’t make it to the short-list.
