Full title reads: “ST. CATHERINE’S DAY IN PARIS“. Paris France. Pan along the line of girls with great hats and frocks on, and each having a glass of Champagne in hand. Girls are giggling, having fun. This is the annual Fete of St. Catherine’s celebration in Paris. Several close up shots of the hats - entries of hats competition. A great ’big bad wolf’ hat with ’the three piglets orchestra’ playing on top of the hat. More shots of the girls giggling and drinking Champagne. Ballroom - ball and the fancy dress competition is held here. Professor Piccard in stratosphere costume (he is inside a large sphere), surrounded by several girls dressed as planets and chained to his sphere. Various shots of the people in fancy dress parading and the crowds looking on - great parade, most of the costumes look very good. Brilliant period costumes with great tall wigs are seen.
