Wallis Bird and Spark recording a demo version of “Cloud On My Tongue“ by Tori Amos at the Gut Siggen seminar centre of the Alfred Toepfer Foundation . in Heringsdorf (Ostholstein) for their joint project “Visions of Venus“. „Visions of Venus“ offers a genre-bending concert experience that embraces a whole millennium of female artistry. Running the gamut of sounds and styles, Bird and Spark present a 360-degree view on the rich and colorful universe created by visionary women from Medieval times until today. The programme includes works by Hildegard von Bingen, Francesca Caccini, Maria Theresa von Paradis, Clara Schumann, Germaine Tailleferre, Amy Beach, Elena Kats-Chernin, Billie Holiday, Carole King, Joni Mitchell, Janis Joplin, Kate Bush, Enya, Tori Amos, Björk, Anohni, Sandie Wollasch and Wallis Bird.
