Watch live: Europe launches its Ariane 6 heavy-lift rocket for the first time
Watch live coverage as the European Space Agency prepares to launch its next generation heavy-lift rocket, the Ariane 6. Liftoff from Kourou in French Guiana is scheduled for 3 p.m. EDT (1900 UTC) on Tuesday, July 9. This is about an hour into a four-hour launch window available for the mission.
Commentary will be provided by Spaceflight Now’s Will Robinson-Smith, starting approximately an hour prior to liftoff. We will be joined by Frederic Castel, reporting live from ESA Headquarters in Paris.
