Khan - Space House (Leni On The Cross) (1997)

lost and found... hypnotic minimalism from Can Oral (Khan), Cologne. Can is the brother of Cem Oral (Jammin’ Unit). He also produced several tracks together with Ingmar Koch (Walker). This track is called Leni On The Cross on his album „Silentmoviesilverscreen“, 1997, Caipirinha Productions NYC; on the Caipirinha compilation CD „Process“ (same year), the track is called Space House. In the Inlay of the „Process“ CD, every artist gives a description of the process creating his tracks. Khan wrote: „Mensch Maschine singt ein Kinderlied. I turn on the equipment, the equipment turns me on. I beat my drum machine, the drums hit me back. I’m getting a terrible headache, my dat has drop outs. The machines are warming up the studio, i’m warming up the studio. Thoughts are energy or electricity, memory is electric. I’m very impatient, machines just sit there forever. I hate kids, my keyboard don’t care about them either.
