Sequential shifter for simracing (DIY, homemade)

This is a shifter I have just finished. It was an interesting project. I use it with Fanatec GT3 RS wheel. It’s mostly aluminium and lever is 28cm long (from central pivot). Gear knob is bought from eBay and springs are spare parts for rear drum brakes for Volkswagen, Seat and Skoda. I have tried different springs with different tensions, but wasn’t satisfied with them. The lever isn’t easy nor hard to push/pull. It feels good to me. I was planning different switch for this shifter, just simple on-off-on switch, but I had problems with that switch and it was too loud so I choose two micro switches instead. There isn’t any stopper, so you have to know how much push/pull. You can miss shift even with this solution. It can be pushed/pulled about 2,5-4cm. And yes, I was inspired with Frex Shifter . ;)
