After it was announced that Spider-Man: Into the Spider-Verse was getting a sequel, Jake Johnson stated that he was currently signing contracts to star in it as Peter B Parker. The New Girl actor also spoke about new variants of Spider-Man he’d like to star alongside in the sequel, including his daughters. This comes after the release of his new indie film, Ride the Eagle, which also stars Susan Sarandon and JK Simmons.
