Bio By She Rox All Female Bands: Sick of Sarah are a Minneapolis, Minnesota based band that formed in 2005. Their indie based power pop gained them a large local fan base that eventually grew statewide. Originally a quartet with singer Abisha Uhl, lead guitarist Katie Murphy, Jessie Farmer on bass and Brooke Svanes on drums, this line up would release 2 Ep’s one in 2006 and the following year. By 2008 bassist Jamie Holm was added to the line-up and Jessie Farmer became the band’s second guitarist, this line up would release another Ep in 2009 before seeing original drummer Brooke Svanes replaced by Jessica Forsythe. By 2010 the band gained national acclaim for their debut full length album “2205” that catapulted the band into a mainstream light, thanks in part to it’s numerous positive reviews and accolades from the band’s huge fan base. Constant touring only solidify the sheer talent of the band, and headlining with such major acts as the all female Hunter Valentine and Belinda Carlisle to name a few opened
