In Staden, the ancient centre of the city, is the floodlit Royal Palace and King’s Garden. In Czechoslovakia, we see a dog and a horse wearing gas masks to protect against gas attacks - quite a disturbing sight! The dog pants heavily in his mask. Various shots of a huge metal press at the Witkowitz Iron Works (Czechoslovakia?) being lowered onto some red hot metal. A watch is pressed into a flat disc by the enormous press.
