This game was produced by Sculptured Software and distributed by JVC, being released in 1993. It is the second game in the Super Star Wars trilogy and is based on the 1980 film The Empire Strikes Back. The game follows as a direct result of its predecessor (Super Star Wars), which was one of the hardest games of his time. Super Empire Strikes Back includes passwords system and some more detailed stages in Mode 7.
