Rabia Soytürk and Caner Topçu Interview with English Subtitles (Duy Beni)

I found this interview to be intriguing so, I thought people might be interested in a translated version. I liked how they addressed the show’s aim and all the things it’s trying to get at. I also like what Rabia said re: the cycles of abuse being portrayed in the show. You get to understand why “good“ or “bad“ characters do the awful stuff that they do but that isn’t shown to justify their actions. The audience is supposed to come to the conclusion that, yes, what they did is still wrong. I personally am looking forward to seeing some more retribution happening, beyond the whole expose regarding the accident. I think portraying small-scale retributions will reflect the problems-and-solutions dynamic that the actors talk about in this interview to a higher extent. I also kinda wish Caner spoke more in this video but oh well. We’ll probably have more interviews. Hope you guys enjoy this one!
