Riz Ortolani - Confessions of a Police Captain Soundtrack (I tried my hand at a bit of audio editing) In mid-1995, the Tamil separatist group, the Tamil Tigers, withdrew from peace talks with the Sri Lankan government and the next day bombed two navy ships, the Sri Lankan government responded with Operation Riviresa, steamrolling through Northern Sri Lanka and eventually capturing the Tamil capital of Jafna, almost ending the civil war that would in fact go on on-and-off for another 15 years.
