“Blues in the Night“ Performed by Maysa Niyazova in Turkmenistan

This video is a clip from the U.S. Embassy’s public concert that was held in honor of Black History Month in Turkmenistan. Maysa Niyazova, U.S. Embassy’s Education Programs Coordinator performed the song “Blues in the Night.“ The concert was devoted to demonstrating the influence of African-Americans on American and world music. The event took place at the “Turkmenistan“ Cinema and Concert Center on February 24, 2011.
