Motörhead - Fools - HD Image Video

Larry Wallis What can we say… The man could write a song, could sing a song and could definitely play a fucking song! This first trio of Motörhead amigos is most definitely unfairly maligned. Lemmy was never going straight from Lost Johnny with it’s light drumming on 74’s Hall of the Mountain Grill, then Motörhead as the Kings of Speed single B side in 75, this complete with violin solo, straight to Overkill. The On Parole album holds up well in retrospect as a bridge between Hawkwind & the Pink Fairies to later Motörhead. It is an eternal shame that Dave Edmunds did not remain to produce the album, bailing out as his solo career took off. He was a man Lemmy admired. Lucas Fox has provided us with much appreciated and valuable commentary on this era, the unreleased takes with his drums are superb as is the final released version of Lost Johnny with Lucas on drums. This is a case of a band that could have been if only United Artists had release
