Wu-style Taijiquan is one of important Taijiquan style. Taijiquan associations are all over HongKong, Macau, Philippines, Singapore, and Malaysia, etc. The 5th generation great master Wu Guangyu is the current master. Through his hard work, Wu style taijiquan has been spreaded all over North America and many countries in Europe. The features of Wu style Taijiquan are light, quiet, soft, convertible. Its gravity transfers clearly and its obliqueness contains straightness. The action of Wu Style taijiquan is light, agile, and flexinble, not using clumsy force, suitable for both body building and application and just naturally. Besides preserving good life and strengthening body health, it has practical functions of martial art. It is popular with people at home and abroad. Wu Guang Yu (see below) is the great grandson of Wu Chien Chuan. He is now the “gatekeeper”, fifth generation of the Wu style of Tai Chi.
