Drawing a white horse Vs drawing a black horse using white charcoal on black paper.

In this video, I show the drawing of two horses I was commissioned to do before Xmas. I don’t get many horse commissions despite them being one of my favourite subjects to draw and these were the first two where the client requested the white charcoal on black paper technique. Luck had it there was one of each extreme, black and I recorded them both to use in a comparison video. It also gave me an excuse to include something other than dog art on my channel. I talk about the differences between doing white and black subjects in this technique and how the technique suits each one. I am using Frisk black card and General’s Charcoal pencils. I use blending stumps, kneaded eraser, mono zero eraser and a soft paint brush for more gentle blending... Keep your eyes out as more tutorials also coming soon. Art Supplies: Frisk black card: General’s white charcoal pencils: Blending stumps: Brush for light blending: Tombow mono zero erasor: Kneaded erasor: I receive a small commission for the above links :) My links: Website: Facebook: Instagram: TikTok: @tmhudsonart?lang=en&is_copy_url=1&is_from_webapp=v1 Business email: luthien2979@
