Crews Fight Grass Fires in North Texas Amid Red Flag Warning

The fire had broken out south of Dumas in Moore County on Saturday, and ballooned to 4,012 acres by the time firefighters contained it, according to the Texas A&M Forest Service. A wind advisory, a fire weather watch, and a red flag warning all remained in effect for Moore County on Monday, as dry conditions heightened the risk for “rapid fire growth,” the National Weather Service warned
