Strathearn Place, London. M/S of a man stood behind a bar polishing a glass. L/S of the bar, there are old fashioned posters round the front, the colour scheme is red and gold. A man walks round and goes behind the bar, he is John Hussey, the proprietor, C/U of John reading a programme for the Gaiety Theatre. C/U of the programme, there is a woman dressed as a maid on the front. The narrator explains that John has modelled this bar on the theatre to try and recapture the atmosphere. A lot of the decor, such as the mirrors, main door and pillars, came from the actual theatre. C/U of the bartender’s face, C/U of his waistcoat and his hands polishing the glass. M/S of three posters on the front of the bar, two of them say ’The Orchid’ and the other one says ’The Geisha’.
