1999 Triumph Legend TT - Screw City

Here is my new parts chaser. A 1999 Triumph Legend TT. Let me tell you, if you’re just looking at this beautiful bike while it’s sitting there, it looks very respectable. Once it’s running, it’s definitely scaring people though. I’ve owned a LOT of motorcycles, and nothing, I repeat nothing, sounds as burly as this thing does. It’s all business in the looks department, and all hooligan and nasty when you’re passing cars at high rates of speed. : ) Simple mods done to an otherwise factory bike with 6,777 miles on it. Emgo reverse megaphone shorty mufflers, that I re-packed with stainless steel wool, and R-30, light airbox mods, and rejetting. I also tooled the mufflers, superbike handlebars, and bag brackets, and then added some nice Bagman softbags I had kicking around. I also modified the turn signal stalks to clean things up a bit, yet retain a stockish look. This bike pulls like a friggin train! Could be for sale for the right money! If you’ve got an old bike, and are interested in fixing it up, or selling it, I’m always anxious to help put these old beauties back on the road, and I’m always buying if the price is right (whether I should be or not.)
