Joris Voorn and Michiel Borstlap Live Detroit Techno Jazz Session

Believe it or not, this is my first experience recording an improvised session with another musician. And not just any, Michiel Borstlap is one of The Netherlands finest Jazz pianists. I asked him to join me in the studio last week to jam along a musical theme I had written, and after a fun but somewhat messy first take, we laid down this ’Take Two’, where Michiel follows my lead and improvised his musical themes on the spot. The experience was incredible, and I’m very proud of the result. It taught me a few things abt music and improvisation. I can’t wait for our next jam!
