Featured in Yash Chopra’s (.) stellar 1975 Bollywood drama Deewar, this song is taken from the scene where Amitabh Bachchan’s Vijay meets Anita, played by Parveen Babi, in a hotel lobby. Left off most copies of the soundtrack, this rare and entrancingly melancholic number is sung by the relatively unheralded Ursula Vaz (and not Usha Uthup as some claim).
