Making a Leather Scissor Holster

► GET TOOLS & MATERIALS HERE: Making a Leather Scissor Holster We constantly loose scissors around the shop, so we decided to make ourselves a few leather scissor holsters to always have scissors on our belt. These handmade scissor holsters save us tons of time searching under the workbench, on shelves, and all over for our scissors! We made these leather scissor holsters our of natural vegetable tanned leather with waxed polyester threads and bras spop rivets from our sponsor Weaver Leather. To make a pattern for any pair of scissors, you can make a simple tracing of the scissors and make sure to include allotment for stitching. You can also use those measurements in the computer (we use Adobe Illustrator) to print out a pattern - that’s what we do! After the pattern is made, we hand cut the pieces of leather and saddle stitched them together. We finished our leather scissor holsters with a coat of bee’s wax fro
