Mia Slavenska, the Croatian ballerina, also appeared in this film as the ballerina Nathalie Karine - here in the swan dance sequence between and , falling through a stage trapdoor which leads to her being unable to dance again. The little girl and aspiring ballerina is Janine Charrat - thanks to Carles03 for the identification.
