Christiane Amanpour, Chief International Anchor of CNN, joined us at the Skoll World Forum last month in a discussion about the role of journalists, press freedom, and truth-telling in an era of seismic shifts. “Truthful, not neutral,” she told the audience, explaining that moral courage far outweighs neutrality. In a nod to the work of social entrepreneurs, she also shared her conviction that there’s great value in stories of solutions. Christiane Amanpour is CNN’s chief international anchor and host of the network’s award-winning, flagship global affairs program “Amanpour,“ which also airs on PBS in the United States.
