Use of the 532PM ’GLARE’ dazzler device in Herat, Afghanistan. The dazzler was used to prevent potential hazard vehicles from getting close to the convoy. The B.E. Meyers ’GLARE’ dazzler allows soldiers a non-lethal option before having to use lethal force to maintain convoy safety, saving both indigenous and soldier lives.
