X Marks The Aardvark (Student Short Film)

Borge the Aardvark is about to be experimented on by and . They want to extract his tounge and produce the most amazing bubble gum the world has ever tasted. Borge escapes and has to navigate his way through the scientists’ tower of madness, while evading being captured by them again. ​ This is my second year short film for my animation course For this short film I wanted to reach out of my comfort zone and create a cartoon that’s different from anything that I have ever made before. I wanted to make a cartoon that has no dialogue and is fully action driven. I also wanted to try out animating with tweens instead of frame by frame so I pushed my Toon Boom Harmony knowledge to the limit to create tweened animation that looks as natural as possible.
