Nazis in NATO

◾Was NATO founded to protect freedom? If so, why did it include Nazi war criminals among its ranks? Rather than denazifying West Germany, the U.S. utilized Hitler’s senior bureaucrats and fascists to establish the institutions of today’s ’democratic West.
