Full title reads: “Kent, Ohio“. Probably June/July 1936. Kent, Ohio, United States of America (USA). Crowd and cars gathered in street. Ext. factory building of ’Black and Decker Electric Co.“. Closer shot shows broken windows in factory. LS people gathered outside building - possibly some kind of civic office. Int. large number of men - many cover faces with hats, or handkerchiefs. A policeman shows a collection of what appear to be captured weapons. Tear gas guns, knives, rifles, etc. He demonstrates loading a flare gun. Cataloguer’s Note: It looks as if this is the result of a strike or demonstration - MD. N.B. Item found in Unidentified Gazettes reel. Presumably from 1930s Gazettes.
