Today we’re taking a look at the satanic philosophy of one of metal’s most influential and enduring figures, the master of the metal macabre: King Diamond-- both with his original band, the legendary Mercyful Fate, as well as his self-titled solo band. King has always been an out-spoken proponent of Anton LaVey and the Church of Satan but, as we will see, he also holds his own unique spiritual beliefs.
