The Power Of The Neocon Narrative Is Evil | Activist Jakob de Jonge
The war narrative is powerful but we can fight it, bit by bit. Activists like Jakob de Jonge in the Netherlands are actively working on communicating the peace message and protesting for the return to a sane European foreign policy. In this segment we discuss why many peace movements from the old days were coopted by the war narrative and how to build new grass root approaches that can fight war mentality. In short, keep it small and decentralised. Institutionalisation of movements makes them vulnerable to “the current thing“, even peace organisations.
Jakob Dejonge is a Dutch artists and human rights activist, working in the Netherlands for a more sane approach in EU-Russian relations.
