Taking a step back to where it all started with VOL.1. TPS first ever broadcast on @ModeLondon It seemed only right to dedicate the first show to a man who inspired me and thousands others. A producer who could capture the energy of the genre like no other. Jorge AKA Hymbeats based out of San Antonia, Texas and part of the legendary Always Proper Records. An incredible loss for the community. Jorge held no ego when it came to this music and was supportive of all. I wasn’t lucky enough to meet him in person, but as I was timidly entering the scene he picked up on one of my tracks showing great support and followed up by offering words of encouragement over message. Music production never came easy for me but I always wanted to contribute somehow to this unique soundscape. The genre and the community has had it’s ups and downs but I can confidently say that no other genre has as much story and character as ours. I hope these shows would have made you proud Jorge, I will always be gutted I never got to invite you onto it. Rest easy.
