Kool-Aid® is Nebraska’s official state drink, as it was invented there in 1927. 4. “Carhenge,“ a popular tourist site in Alliance, Nebraska, was built to resemble England’s Stonehenge but is made of cars instead of monolithic stones. 5. Nebraska’s state capitol, Lancaster, was renamed “Lincoln“ following President Lincoln’s assassination. 6.
