Piano Sonata No. 25 Op. 79 - Beethoven/Nathan Gnewikow

A criminally underrated little sonata. Chronologically, it’s slumped between some of Beethoven’s most important Piano Sonatas (the “Appasionata“ & “Les Adieux“ specifically), which is probably why it’s often overshadowed and less discussed. While it’s certainly less grand in scale, it’s equally as inventive & imaginative, and has a unique, endlessly fun character about it that strikes me; it’s a true favorite of mine. Enjoy!
